Hi, can you give more detailed info on this setup? Is it a windows media center thing?
If you gotta be stuck, A Beautiful Life is a pretty good place to be.
Hi Jake,
It is actually a home grown PVR based around the MythTV project running debian Linux. It was a bit tricky to work out as we use more of a European style signal here, but with our own SE Asian differences. Coupled with that, when I built it it was pretty difficult to find hardware to work with our digital terrestrial signal – though there seems to be much more hardware around now. If you’re building one then it should be much easier in the US.
If you’re interested, I’d suggest checking out Mythtv (www.mythtv.org).
Cheers,
Chuck
