Just got back from a great christmas full of wiggly, giggly kids and blessed unplanned days.

Big changes a foot for next year -Charles’ sister Lisa (and Duncan and the kids) are all moving to Houston for a few years and his other sister Sally (and Paul and the girls) have just moved back from New Zealand. If they had just waited a few months, they could have just swapped houses.

Bad movie tonic
Thursday, December 21st, 2006Just got back from seeing Eragon with Charles. It’s so bad it’s good. And I’m sure we have a few sequels coming as well.
The day started off fairly crappy. I’ve been forgetting a lot lately and overlooking really obvious things. Which just makes more to remember and keep track of.
If I look at it objectively, it’s clear that I’m a bit depressed. But it’s not like when I was a teenager. I’m not all mopey all the time. But I do have a kind of tightness in my chest and I get tired and spacey.
It doesn’t make sense to me, why I would be like this. I mean, of course I know that it’s because Mom died but why would that be physical? Is reality so hard to adjust to that the body has to catch up?
It’s interesting to watch in any case. Looking forward to the holiday if only so I don’t have to worry about any gaps in my concentration.
And things feel like they’re on the up swing in any case.
